Logo Progress

After peer feedback from initial sketches, a new idea was formed and began to take form…

For this stage of my capstone project, I’ve been focusing heavily on developing the logo and refining the visual identity. After sharing my first round of sketches, the feedback I received pointed me toward the idea of creating a badge or stamp-style logo, similar to a passport stamp. This direction ties in perfectly with the overall concept of travel and adventure, which is at the heart of my project.

From there, I began exploring different clean script fonts that could bring an approachable yet polished look to the brand. I sketched out several badge variations, experimenting with shapes and layouts that could frame the name in an engaging way. After a second round of feedback, I decided to move forward with the version that featured dashed lines and a pin mark—elements that reinforce both movement and place.

Once the logo direction was finalized, I shifted my attention to the color palette. My goal was to establish a bold, playful set of colors that would immediately communicate energy and excitement. Red was chosen as the primary brand color, serving as the anchor for the system and helping the identity stand out. In addition to the main badge logo, I also created supporting variations, including a simplified wordmark and a horizontal format, so the branding can adapt across different applications.
